Planning The First Day

Today I'm getting excited about our very first day of our travels. I'm going to get prepared. I am the sort of person who gets overwhelmed very easily so it seems like a good idea to make it all as easy as possible for me.

Research Bunny is back with a vengeance!

So I have cleverly found this rather useful site which lists out a bunch of hotels that have a shuttle service from Phuket airport.

My plan is that we don't care about saving money or staying somewhere less touristy when we first get there. We just care about going somewhere clean and easy and having a shower and a sleep and some food and a beer.

We can start our 'authentic experience' type travelling once we've had a kip.

So I'm more than happy to get a shuttle bus and go to a place like this. It's around £30 a night.

It's too awesome.

This lovely place is in Phuket and I think we deserve to stay here for a couple of nights to kick of our travel in style. I'm getting very excited already.







After we're sure we've relaxed enough we'll head of to Koh Phayam and live in a £8 bungalow on a beach for a few weeks.

When I write the plan out it not only seems like a piece of piss, but it seems like the funnest plan in the world. I am a planning genius. I should be feared.
