It's All Getting A Bit Real Now

For the first time I am now beginning to feel like we're actually going to go travelling.

It did not seem that real before, even when I left my job. Even during all the research I've been doing and all the people we've spoken to who have given us wonderful advice.

"Well done, you've done some good research"

Even as we began to pack up our stuff and did practical things like ordering the new carpet for the flat, it still didn't feel that real.

But now it does.

Now about 77% of our stuff is packed up in some way or another and our flat is full of boxes and bags and general crap. Every day I get overwhelmed (at least twice a day to be honest) and I have to have a sit down and a cup of tea. This works out pretty well as Nic always seems glad of a break.

We are doing so well, I'm very pleased with our progress.

This is me... I'm Superman!

We've booked our van, booked our travel clinic, and even got a date for our leaving do. We are supermens.

It's quite tiring, and I'm looking forward to the bit when we've just finished painting the flat and we've booked our tickets (not done that bit yet). The we can actually go. That'll rock.
