This is an important bit, so concentrate...
Firstly... Don't get Malaria!

The
travel clinic seems relatively easy to organise. It's not cheap, but you can't put a price on your health!
Nic says that there are no jumping snakes in Africa, but there are definitely snakes.

Don't let a snake bite you... |

...even if he is only little |

Mmmmmmozzie |
We'll be sleeping in a tent on top of our van mainly, so we'll hopefully avoid a lot of the snakes and creepy nasties. Apparently we might even have less mosquitos attacking us if we're a bit higher off the ground.
And of course we'll have a mozzie net (maybe 2) and lots of Deet.
Nic's already worrying about tics. He got bitten by a tic when he was in Mozambique last, so he is now paranoid about them. His advice to avoid these is:
"Don't run around barefoot in the grass"
 |
There'll be none of this in Africa |
Yep! I think that just about covers more things!
