I've been thinking about Thailand again, and I've been getting excited about Koh Sok National Park and particularly the lovely raft houses that are there.

This map isn't particularly good, but the raft houses are near the big lake, it seems pretty remote.  If you zoom out a little bit and go right you should see where the raft houses are.

Here's a pretty good article about staying in the park in the raft houses. This gives you a good idea of how basic and beautiful it is.
